D I S T U R B I A

While stuck at home serving a three-month house arrest sentence, teenager Kale Brecht (Shia LaBeouf) takes to relieving his boredom by spying on his neighbors, including Ashley Carlson (Sarah Roemer), the new girl next door. After hearing news of the unsolved disappearances of several young women, Kale becomes convinced that neighbor Bob Turner (David Morse), who keeps strange hours and always seems to be dragging large, heavy bags of trash into his garage, is responsible for the crimes. Kale attempts to warn his mother, Julie (Carrie-Anne Moss), about Turner, but she refuses to listen. With nowhere else to turn, Kale enlists the aid of Ashley and best friend Ronnie (Aaron Yoo) and attempts to catch Turner in the act.

---> i actually just watched this film because of the main character (Shia LaBeouf), i like him and i think all his movies are great. he really portrays his roles very well and he is even teamed up with excellent actors/actresses in the film industry. anyways, the movie was great since it has this suspense thriller thing going. it also makes your heart pound as he watches from his binoculars as he tries to solve the mystery of his neighbor who he thinks is a killer. the story was interesting as to how a house arrest teenager got involved in a mystery and in the end even proved himself to the public that he is NOT a DISTURBED guy.

::::: L I N E S ::::::

KALE: I... I've seen a lot. I mean, not like that. I mean...

KALE: For instance, I've seen that you're maybe one of, I don't know, three people in the world that likes pizza flavored chips. You're also the only person I've ever seen that spends more time on the roof of her house than in her actual house. And what you do when you're reading... books, ya know, not... not US weekly or Seventeen or ya know? But you're reading substantial books.

ASHLEY: That's either the creepiest... or the sweetest thing I have ever heard.
