There’s music in the wind and sky. Can you hear it? And there’s hope. Can you feel it? The boy called August Rush can. The music mysteriously draws him, penniless and alone, to New York City in a quest to find – somehow, someway – the parents separated from him years earlier. And along the way he may also find the musical genius hidden within him. Experience the magic of this rhapsodic epic of the heart starring Freddie Highmore (as August), Keri Russell, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Terrence Howard and Robin Williams. “I believe in music the way some people believe in fairy tales,” August says. Open your heart and listen. You’ll believe, too.---> this movie is mainly about a boy finding her parents through music but what i liked about it, is the love story of his parents. i like the idea that you can find your soulmate in just like an instant. you meet him/her for the first time, look into each other's eyes and right then and there, you know its gonna be him/her that you're gonna spend the rest of your life with. just like that and you feel connected already. i like the idea since in this generation, i can never trust someone right away. there's always doubts and apprehensions. anyways, the movie was great especially to those music lovers out there. its not just about music, but about faith and not losing hope. there will always be a connection to the people we love. be it music, dancing, photographs, or even the simple little things in life.
